The board of W.S.G. Abacus makes sure that the Abacus room is open every weekday, coffee and tea can be had, the atmosphere in the room is nice and fruit and sweets can be bought.

Besides these visible tasks, the board takes care of a lot of other things. The board takes care of the book sales, the exams on the website, lunch lectures, planning of social activities and accompanying committees. The board also helps taking care of the bars in the Zilverling building and makes sure that the Educafé stays habitable.

The board also represents W.S.G. Abacus on the rest of the university and throughout the country. She visits the WISO (countrywide consultation in which all mathematics and computer science associations take part) as well as constitution drinks of other associations on the university to keep all relationships healthy.

Finally the board organizes a weekend to thank all active members.
