Our work has an enormous social and economic impact. Based on our independent and reliable information, important policy decisions are taken in The Hague as well as in Brussels. 
Provinces, municipalities and businesses, but also individual citizens benefit from the results of our research. Every single day, these results make national news headlines.

Sigrid and Yvonne both started working at the methodology department of CBS after their studies Applied and Industrial Mathematics. Sigrid's work includes analyzing rule-based data cleaning strategies and the use of sensordata such as physical activity trackers. Yvonne works on mobility and researches combining big data sources.
