Nadia Bloemendaal is a PhD researcher at the Institute for Environmental Studies, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She obtained her bacherlor's degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente in 2014, followed by a Meteorology master in Utrecht. She has been working at the VU since 2016. Her PhD work focuses on assessing tropical cyclone flood risk under climate change.
