Ideaal!
The Ideaal! takes care of the association magazine Ideaal!. This magazine is published every two months and contains formal and informal mathematical articles, puzzles, photos of activities organized by Abacus, several columns and loads of other articles. The mathematical papers can be written about a bachelor thesis, a research of a master student or about the work of an alumnus. Members of the Ideaal! approach teachers and students to ask them to write an article or paper to be published in the Ideaal! or they get approached by members of Abacus that want to contribute to the magazine. Committee members can write articles themselves as well. When all the articles are gathered, committee members do the lay-out of the Ideaal!, print the edition and spread the Ideaal! among members of Abacus.
The Ideaal! meets once a week. Apart from that, the members spend about an hour a week doing their tasks.
