(A)bac(ch)us
The (A)bac(ch)us organizes afternoon and evening drinks. These drinks often have a theme or a small activity. Think about an auction drink, or activities such as a beer tasting. These drinks are promoted and organized by the members of the committee.
The (A)bac(ch)us also makes sure that there is bar personnel for every activity. Think about the activities that the Ab-Actie organizes, or the FriADs (Friday Afternoon Drinks) and drinks after a symposium. The members of the (A)bac(ch)us only have to tend the bar for these drinks.
The (A)bac(ch)us meets once every quarter to decide who is doing what activity or drink. Aside from that, the (A)bac(ch)us has a committee outing every year.
If you want to be part of the (A)bac(ch)us, you will first learn how to tap a beer and how to set up and clean up a drink. The (A)bac(ch)us is a committee with a lot of differences in study progress and experience in committees. If you want to organize theme drinks or tap during activities, you’re welcome in the (A)bac(ch)us. If you’re a member of the (A)bac(ch)us you’ll also get the possibility to get an IVA-certificate.
