COUNTY will make the almanac of 2017-2019.
The Almanac Committee is set up every two years. The committee makes an almanac over these two years, so you’ll be in this committee for two years. In the first year, the committee will be busy with collecting bits and pieces to fill the almanac. These pieces will be about activities, about committees or about boards. In the second year the lay-out of the almanac has to be made, usually in InDesign. The almanac always has a theme and the committee chooses their own name. The theme and the name will be presented on the theme presentation in the first year. The committee also organizes the almanac presentation, when the almanac is finished.
In the Almanac Committee you’ll learn how to work with Adobe InDesign. The committee runs for two years, so there is lots of space for your own ideas and creativity. You’ll also learn how to approach different people to ask them to write a piece for the almanac.
The Almanac Committee usually meets once per week and organizes a brainstorm so now and then.
